Brunswick Heads

Brunswick Heads is small and unspoilt coastal town set in Northern New South Wales. Despite being only a 15 minute drive from the increasingly popular Byron Bay, Brunswick Heads has preserved its genuine seaside vibes and offers a reprieve from the hustle bustle of its nearby sister. Old wooden timber bridges connect the town centre to pristine white sanded beaches idyllic for surfing, swimming, and sunbathing. There is no shortage of book reading spots and cafes near the crystal blue waters of Brunswick River, which weaves through the town centre under shady tree canopies. So, take a moment to stop, rejuvenate and visit this beautiful town – here is a quick guide to help you along the way:

Eat

Trawlers Bar and Kitchen – A short walk from the main town centre, Trawlers offers beers on tap, well-priced cocktails, and an enticing fresh seasonal menu. Dog friendly and happy hour is available from 4 to 6pm. Need I say more.

Bruns Bakery – Literally showcasing their freshly made pies, pastries, cakes, and sandwiches (vegan options available), the only difficulty here will be taking your pick. Revel in their old world interior whilst sipping on a coffee and gaining a new appreciation for custard pies.

Do

VINTAGE SHOPS – meander around the local and vintage shops where you will find all kinds of treasures.

BRUNSWICK PICTURE HOUSE – Watch a Cheeky Cabaret show at the Picture House.

DOG BEACH – where all furry friends are welcome to be off lead.
